    1. It well worth it though the bird has the whole harbour to move around in and isn't always easy, this was my third go and the first time i had seen it. Going in the week is the best bet as the fishermen are active and many larhge gulls were in the area due to the fish scraps. I had previously visited on a Sunday and few large gulls were present

  2. I have the day off work today and the camera ready - so where do you recommend? shorelark at Hayling or camber docks for the gull? i'm in waterlooville so pretty local to both. any advice greatly appreciated.

  3. Sorry I tried to reply to this earlier, It's a tuff one why not go for both! For photos the Shore lark is often distant so the Gull it better but probably less reliable. I'd suggest going for the gull and if it shows well and quickly you'll have time to go for the lark after. Good luck.
